Garden Discovery Tour by Electric Buggy

Learn about the plants and animals in the garden on this introductory tour with a volunteer guide.  Gently glide along the main path in the electric buggy under the canopy of the natural forest and through the international planted garden areas. Take a short stroll around the picturesque lake and the Japanese Garden at the far end of the garden before returning to make a short stop with a guided tour of the Glasshouse plants.  Your guide will also provide tips on other garden areas to explore including the best places to try and spot a koala.

Do you have a birthday, anniversary or picnic event with elderly relatives or friends with mobility issues?

Additional and tailored buggy tours, or a transport service to and from a picnic area in the garden, can be organised and booked by request on other days by contacting the Information Centre (6648 4188).

These are ideal for groups for family and friends where some members may have mobility restrictions. Simply provide your preferred dates and times with a contact phone number and a garden volunteer will get back to you with availability and cost to suit your needs.

All tour proceeds support the garden.
