Venues near the garden entrance   

Close to car parking and toilets at entrance building:

1.  Front Pavilion – covered stage area with a large lawn. Power supply available.
2.  Front pond – small lawn area between garden beds by the pond (capacity: 20 seats)
3.  Waterside Picnic Area – uncovered stage with large lawn area: 200 metres from entrance

Venues away from the garden entrance – down the Main Path

About 600 to 900 metres from the entrance car park. Toilets are next to the Village Green

4. Rose garden – small lawn area within the Sensory Garden
5. Glasshouse Foyer – covered area opposite the Village Green
6. Village Green – a large lawn area between the Glasshouse and Rainforests
7. Chinese Pagoda – small lawn area near the waterfall
8. Japanese Garden – Pavilion by the lake and the red bridge. 
9. The Americas Garden Area – a pergola by a pond next to a lawn area.

Vehicles are not permitted in the garden.  Event equipment and guests can be transported to the venue site using the garden’s electric buggies with a volunteer driver organised by the Friends of the Garden.

Preserving our environment is a key concern at the botanic garden so any activities undertaken with the hire of an outdoor venue should not damage or pollute the garden and the surrounding bushland environment in any way. This includes leaving any rubbish behind and releasing of balloons into the air.
