Plant Nurseries
The North Coast Regional Botanic Garden maintains two plant nurseries.
The Friends of the Botanic Garden manage a volunteer run plant nursery which supplies plants for sale to the community, particularly of native plants suitable to grow in the NSW North Coast region. The sale of these plants brings colour and joy into the lives of people and enables the community to grow resilient wildlife friendly gardens at home or around schools, farms and businesses.
Proceeds from the sale of plants support the Botanic Garden and the visitor services and educational programs offered by the Friends of the Botanic Garden which is a volunteer run registered charity.

The conservation plant nursery has a focus on growing plants for the Botanic Garden’s Living Plants Collection and for other conservation programs, including to protect rare and endangered plant species. This nursery is managed by the staff of the City of Coffs Harbour assisted by volunteers.
